Así quedó el ranking mundial ATP tras el título de Jannik Sinner en Wimbledon 2025

En el 2021, Matteo Berretini fue el primer italiano en llegar a la final, sin lograr la obtención del título, pues en esa ocasión el serbio Novak Djokovic se impuso con un marcador 6-7, 6-4, 6-4,6-3.

Jannik Sinner, primer italiano que consigue ganar en Wimbledon

En 2021, su compatriota Matteo Berretini ya había hecho historia al ser el primer italiano en llegar a la final del torneo londinense.

Tanto Martín de la Puente, como Ruben Spaargaren, se coronaron campeones de Wimbledon en dobles en silla de ruedas.
